Delete Your SxS Xcapes Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your SxS Xcapes account and the data associated with it. SxS Xcapes is developed by SxS Xcapes, LLC. You can request deletion directly in the app, or by email if you can no longer access the app.
How To Delete Your Account In The App
This is the primary way to delete your account:
- Open the SxS Xcapes app.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
- Your account and associated data are permanently deleted.
Important — cancel your subscription first. If you have an active subscription, you must first cancel it in your device’s Settings → Subscriptions (iOS) or the Google Play subscriptions screen (Android). The app will block deletion and prompt you to cancel first so you are not billed again. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
If You Can’t Access The App
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We will verify ownership and process the deletion.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your account login (email and authentication record)
- Your profile (name, email)
- Your saved/favorite trails
- Your completed-trail history
- Any trail issue reports you submitted
- Your push-notification token (if present)
What Data Is Retained, And Why
- Legal acknowledgment records. Your acceptance of the beta disclaimer and 18+ age confirmation are retained as required legal records. These are kept in anonymized form (your account identifier is removed) and include the timestamp and IP address captured at the time you accepted, for legal compliance purposes.
- Aggregated/anonymized diagnostics. Diagnostic and crash data that is no longer linked to your account may be retained.
Retention period. Your account and associated personal data are deleted immediately upon a successful request. Retained legal acknowledgment records are kept for as long as legally necessary.
